Join us Saturday, June 24, 2023, for our annual Beer Garden & Silent Auction. The event is being held at our Oakhurst Garden in Decatur and will feature locally brewed beer, a bratwurst stand, live music, and a silent auction with 100's of items including gift certificates and vacation homes.
Proceeds from this event goes directly to support Wylde Center’s environmental and garden education program that teaches more than 8,000 students each year in the metro-Atlanta region; Wylde Center’s seven acres of greenspace over five gardens that are open to the public every day and provide important habitat; and Wylde Center’s extensive programs for the greater Atlanta community.

Bzz, did you know the city of Decatur became the very first Bee City USA® in Georgia in 2016?!? Celebrate National Pollinator Week Saturday, June 24 in Decatur (or rather “Beecatur”🐝) on the Square with bees, butterflies, native plants and a wide variety of vendors.
Learn about the critical role bees and other pollinators play in our ecosystem and how to protect them through informative talks and activities at this mini festival. There will be educational activities for kids, plus facepainting, popsicles and more. This event is free.

In this year’s brand new walking tour, come learn about the Architects and Architecture of Downtown Decatur. This tour will focus on commercial buildings spanning 1920 to 1970. Attendees will see a wide variety of building styles from classical to modern. You will walk away with a new appreciation for the historic buildings found in Downtown Decatur. Buildings covered include Blair-Rutland Building, Decatur Presbyterian, Decatur High School and more!
Tour lasts 75 minutes, distance 1 mile.
